Why Work at Home Moms Wake Up Early Morning

One of the biggest challenges for anyone committed to improve productivity is to wake up early in the morning. When you wake up before dawn, your body has more energy to carry you through completing assignments. Most importantly, an early start makes you feel as if you're winning a competitive race. Here are more waking up early benefits, which are particularly useful for a work at home mom.

The 5 A.M. Routine

Getting into the habit of waking up at 5 a.m. every morning will help raise your spirit about your work. People feel more positive at the start of a brand new day, partly because it's like wiping a slate clean and approaching your goals with a fresh perspective. You are joined in your strategy with famous successful early risers such as Mark Zuckerberg, Richard Branson and Arianna Huffington. Even if you have trouble establishing this routine, eventually when you do regularly wake up early, it will feel like a victory compared with the days you slept in. Once you win the morning, you are in a good position for winning the day. These concepts have been explored by Tim Ferriss, author of The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich. Surveys show that Americans commonly wake up between 6:00 and 7:30 a.m. So if you wake up at 5:00, chances are you won't have to deal with any interruptions your first few hours of being awake. That head start on most people gives you time to organize your duties for the day.

Taking Control

Part of the secret to establishing a regular wake up early routine is to simply take control of your day once you wake up. It's a matter of determination and a sense of adventure. You must have a passion and sense of reward for the work you do as a key motivator. The motivation must be created by you since relying on another theory to wake up early usually leads to catching up on dream time. A wake up before dawn strategy gives you the opportunity to set your own priorities, as opposed to your day's agenda being set by others from the start. You won't have to start your day answering urgent emails or listening to phones ringing. You essentially own your time and can prepare yourself quietly and peacefully for the challenges ahead. Developing self-discipline is achieved by making early starts a consistent pattern. Self-discipline will help you sharpen your skills, especially when it comes to focusing on one project at a time. It will also boost both your self-confidence and self-awareness. These qualities will give you a more alert sense to meeting your expectations and responsibilities.

How Night Owls Can Convert

Many people simply enjoy staying up late, watching late night television programs and movies. They feel a similar sensation that early risers feel about the world: that they are among the few to be awake, making them more in control of the world. If staying up late helps you reach your goals and doesn't interfere with responsibilities, then keep enjoying it. But, if you must complete certain tasks early in the day, it's a good idea to shift to a wake up before dawn strategy, especially if you are a work at home mom. Tell yourself how much you will improve productivity by waking up early. You will enjoy the same feeling of being among the few to be awake, except you will be in a more powerful position to finish your tasks. You don't necessarily have to make 5:00 a.m. your wake up time; you just need to get an earlier start. Since you likely won't be able to change your entire schedule overnight, think about gradually easing into a new earlier schedule. One way to begin this shift is to consciously start winding down earlier and staying away from tech your last few hours before sleep. Another tip is to get an alarm clock. Ideally, however, you won't have to rely on an electronic device to wake you up, as your body clock will naturally feel comfortable waking up before dawn. If you have trouble getting to sleep at night, try deep breathing, which leads to relaxation.

How to Get Energized

A trick to help you collect energy when you wake up early is to do physical exercises such as sit-ups, push-ups or running. This activity will help stimulate your entire body. Eating fruit in the morning will also give you energy. Using that early time to straighten up your office can also give you a strong sense of encouragement to improve productivity as the day unfolds. This type of lifestyle will help you improve your health.

Conclusion

By consciously setting an early schedule that you can ease into, over time you should be able to make waking up early a regular habit. The keys come from your own mindset to stick to an early schedule that allows you to increase momentum through the day. Once you see confirmation of waking up early benefits, you will be more motivated to make it a daily pattern.
