Win-win program for TCI graduates and transcription companies
Once you've passed the course with a final course score above 80, you can get practical experience by doing an internship for a transcription company. As a transcription intern, you will gain valuable industry experience. During the internship, you will be asked to commit to transcribing up to 5 hours of recorded audio. There is a possible opportunity for employment after your internship period ends.
Transcriptionists:
The internship gives TCI graduates an opportunity to gain real-world experience by transcribing files for real clients. This will help our graduates gain work experience and a reference to help them establish a career in transcription.
Note: The transcription company that you intern for does not guarantee employment or further work once the internship has been completed.
Transcription companies provide real work to TCI graduates. The only requirement is to guide the transcriptionist, provide a letter detailing job performance, and a reference if needed.
