When working from home, you may not find time to go out and socialize.
Solution: Allocate specific hours of particular days for meeting up with friends and socializing.
Most online freelancers find themselves working at odd hours and nearly all the time they are free.
Solution: Designate and stick to your work hours.
Sitting on the computer for long periods can lead to eye strain and back pain.
Solution: Take regular breaks from the computer to stretch your body.
With freelance work, your income will be inconsistent especially if you are paid per assignment.
Solution: Determine how much you need to make per month and then work out the number of assignments you will need to attain your income goal.
Energy bills can shoot up and there may be other costs for various business activities.
Solution: Plan ahead and start a savings account to take care of business expenses.
More administrative works such as handling billing will be on you.
Solution: Use various software to streamline administrative tasks.
Since you are running your own business as a WAHM, you will be expected to pay taxes.
Solution: Hire a bookkeeper on a project basis to get your taxes in order.
